City Improvement District Services

Servest Security currently supplies metro districts with Public Safety Ambassadors who have positively contributed to the general security improvements in these CBD districts.

This is not conventional security as we know it but rather specialized Officers who fulfil the role of "city ambassadors" by assisting the public, visitors and tourists to the area with information on services and location information that they may require, they offer high patrol visibility to deter potential criminals from infiltrating a CBD area.

Security officers on foot patrol are trained to be vigilant in the environment in which they operate, they therefore easily identify suspicious activities which is immediately reported to a central control room to alert emergency services and all security service providers and partners in the area.

CID Security Personnel are qualified Public Safety Ambassadors who are trained to man information kiosks, provide security education and advice to members of the public and are continuously updated on events an happenings in the area such as conferences, expo's and the like.  Strong partnerships between the SAPS and other security service providers in these areas, enhances the overall protection of businesses, people and property.

Public Safety Ambassadors are also trained to safeguard and protect the physical environment as well as to report any malfunctioning equipment in the area such as traffic lights, street light and fire prevention equipment thereby being pro-active in maintaining the upkeep of necessary municipal services.  With the continuous stream of new structural developments in these areas Servest Security is able to continuously evaluate the needs of the CBD, specifically where security should be increased or more concentrated because of certain developments like construction or system malfunctions.

Servest Security CIB Safety Ambassadors are the key to a  safe and functioning business environment providing valuable information sharing between Retailers, Businesses, Developers and Civilians and all those operating and visiting a CBD area.
